A Better Place to Tell Our Stories: Our New Website
For the past 2 years, we seem to have been in a rush to create new websites and every few months or so we would launch a new website. If you have been following us closely you will have noticed we usually do not boast about it too much: we like to keep it quiet.
Reasons vary on why we do this, however, we usually perform changes due to technical matters we needed to fix, SEO improvements, we wanted to create a new category or functionality and the old website wouldn´t allow us (alongside other needs)… But at some point, we started to feel like we needed a place to call home: a website that would represent us as a 3d animation studio.
This is why on this occasion we wanted to take some time and shout to the sky about our brand new website, and we feel we have quite some things to boast about:
- First of all, we have a brand new portfolio section where we added a couple of projects we just weren’t able to show or were in production for quite some time. We now have a fresh look into some of the recent projects, and even though we still cannot put everything in there due to space restrictions (or NDAs), trust us this is just a small sample of what the studio has been cooking over the past few months.
- We ARE an animation studio and we MAKE animation, this was the key message we wanted to communicate to the world and we believe we accomplished this brilliantly in our new website: we have animations on the first second you load the site and you can interact with our animations, we are certain this is the right way to promote our studio and how much we like to create 2d & 3d characters.
- We wanted you to understand what we do and how we do it: we wanted you to understand we have a global clientele, that we offer multiple services asides from 3d animation and that we work on multiple projects at the same time, and also we wanted to give you tons of way for you to reach back at us: whether it is a phone number, our Twitter account, our Instagram or simply our email, we just don’t care how you contact us, we wanted our website to be as friendly (and interesting) as possible to you.
- We wanted interaction and movement everywhere so that our site would not be stall nor boring. This was also a key item on our brief: we wanted people to move along with our animations, we just felt it was time to take further our animations, tech and website: we wanted you to control the 3d animations we had created.
That being said, after a lot of work, a lot of back and forth with the creative teams, finally we are now able to present our brand new Exodo Animation Studios website.
And obviously, we would like to thank Polynomial Media and Mijo! Brands for the excellent partnership and brilliant outcome, as well as their keen eye for details. These guys helped us take our next step for our website.
So without further due, please do enjoy our brand new website and share with us what you think of it, we’ll be waiting!
